Dustin Ritchea — Director
Dustin Ritchea is also a hometown native who attended Chesterton High School and was a Sandpiper. He has been performing since he was five years old and was nominated by NIETF for best principle actor in a play for his role of Kenneth Tynan in Chicago Street Theatre's production of Orson's Shadow. Dustin holds a master’s degree in telecommunications (production and design) from Indiana University and bachelor’s degrees in English and theater arts from Augsburg University. He has experience as an actor, producer, and multimedia specialist, having worked as a digital marketing coordinator for the Gilmore Keyboard Festival, an assistant instructor for Indiana University, including a summer internship teaching screenwriting in London, England, and a theater teacher and dramatist for Premier Performance and Parkdale Recovery Center. He currently works as the Promotions Director for Indiana Dunes Tourism, overseeing the production of several publications, videos, and graphic design projects, and the implementation of the internal and external communications plans. In his free time, Dustin is the owner of Dustin Ritchea Photography, and he continues to write and act, as well as play piano in a local classic rock band, Dunesice Classic Rewind, with his father.
